Support Group Overview

Overview

The Pando Protocol focuses on creating uplifting and supportive connections to help manage mood disorders. There are two main types of connections in the program:

  • Support Group: This group consists of individuals with mood disorders and their supporters. It offers general learning, encouragement, and community engagement.

  • Wellness Team: Composed of close friends or family of the person with a mood disorder, this team assists in managing the specifics of their illness.

This section details the support group aspect. The support group meets weekly for an hour, reviewing new content that recurs annually. Here’s the outline for the support group content:

Each meeting includes three segments:

  • Group Mindfulness: The group participates in a mindfulness activity to practice the skill and focus on the meeting.

  • Group Sharing: Members share their progress for the week and important metrics they are tracking.

  • Group Learning: The group reads content together and then engages in a discussion.

Much of the content is built around this framework:

  • The Wellness Circle: An approach that promotes a holistic approach to enhancing well-being in a sustainable manner.

We hope you find value in participating in a support group, whether you start your own or join an existing one.
